Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using VR Mentor ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

VR Mentor provides a SaaS platform for streaming and displaying learner behavioural metrics from Unity-based VR applications to instructor dashboards. Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must ensure that learners whose data is collected via the Unity SDK have been informed of and have consented to data collection, in accordance with applicable law.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • You must keep your API keys secure and not share them publicly.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued unless required by law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial with no credit card required. We may limit features or data retention during the trial period.

6. Intellectual property

The VR Mentor platform, including the Unity SDK, is our intellectual property. Your session data and any content you upload remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We provide email support for all plans and priority support for Pro and Enterprise plans.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VR Mentor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard settings.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will give 14 days' notice of material changes via email or dashboard notification.
